Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club are very pleased to host the Trident UK RS400 Northern Tour at Grimwith Reservoir on Saturday 22^nd & Sunday 23^rd July  2023.

Entries and Suggested Entry Donations

To help with planning and organisation please via the YDSC website here. Online entries will close at midnight on Thursday evening 20th July 2023.

The RS400 suggested entry donation (as we are a charity) for the event is £40 for double handed boats.

A late entry fee of £10 payable to the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue will be incurred by entrants entering on the day.

Event Schedule

• Registration will be in the clubhouse from 09:00 to 10:00 on Saturday
• Competitor briefing will not before 11am
• There will be 4 races on Saturday depending on weather and prevailing conditions at the discretion of the Race Officer
• 3 races will be planned of Sunday
• First warning signal on Saturday will be not before 11:25
• Final warning signal on Sunday will be not after 13:30
• Saturday’s evening (7pm) meal should be prebooked before the 15th July due to the numbers involved.

If cancellation is required due to weather or any other unforeseen event, then this will be notified on this website.

Other Key Information

The YDSC Galley will be open for Breakfast, Lunch and for Dinner on Saturday, plus Breakfast & Lunch on Sunday. Saturday dinner must be booked in advance by 15 July – see Additional Info at the end of the Notice of Race.

Camping for motorhomes and tents is free (sorry, Yorkshire Water specify no caravans). Gates may be opened at around 6pm Friday 21^st July if there is demand (please confirm before travelling) and visitors should leave by 5pm Sunday evening.
