RS400 Open 2020

Chichester Yacht club always put on a fantastic open evenmt, and we are evry excitied about htis one, kciking off the 2020 RS400 Southern Tour, spnsored by Rooster and West Country Boat Repairs.

Chichester Yacht Club is one of the harbour's best sailing locations, with a large area that gives both tidal and tactical racing.

Chichester will also kick off the 2020 'cake war' with their well-renowned tea and cake for all participants!

3 back-to-back races are planned

First Warning Signal: 13.25

High Water: 14.57, 4.75m

Entry fee: £20 (+£2 harbour dues, if applicable)

Drop off Friday evening

For those traveling to Chichester on the Friday, drop off at the club is welcome. It’s probably easiest for competitors to liaise with the office for this just to let them know their time of arrival. Contact details are at cyc.co.uk 

 Catering

Full dining facilities at CYC Friday night until 9pm. 

The Boat House Cafe close to the club opens 8am for breakfast. 

The tea bar at CYC will open at the club a few hours before the start of racing offering snacks and drinks and then tea and cake post racing. 

There are no facilities at the club for camping/campervans/staying in cars. 

There is a Premier Inn on the outskirts of Chichester and a Travel Lodge in Chichester as well as other local BnBs etc.
