Lots to see and do in the local area and around Northern Ireland
The Royal North of Ireland is on the shores of Belfast Lough, a pleasant and scenic walk from the town of Holywood.
Belfast City Airport is just 4 miles away, and there is a convenient train line that runs from Cultra to Belfast in one direction and Bangor in the other. Once the boat has been dropped off, it is very possible to enjoy the Championships without the need for a car.
We would very much recommend arriving early or staying on to enjoy some of the attractions that Belfast and Northern Ireland have to offer.
Top of the list has to be Titanic Belfast, just 6.5 miles from the club (an easy train or taxi ride). Named the World's Leading Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards, its shimmering exterior contains nine galleries spread across six floors mirroring the height of Titanic, as well as interactive exhibitions, an underwater cinema and gantry rides - more of an experience than a museum.
If you're looking for a bit of luxury, the Culloden Estate Hotel and Spa is a 20 minute walk from the club
Visit Belfast has a wealth of information on other attractions, including the famous Black Cab Tour, Game of Thrones Studio Tour St.George's Market and botanic gardens.
The Giant's Causeway UNESCO World Heritage site is around an hour and a half away, and easily combined with a visit to Bushmill's Distillery, the world's oldest licensed distillery.
And then of course there's the Irish craic too!
