Hayling Island Sailing Club welcomes the RS400 fleet for the Noble Marine National Championships, 10-13 Sept 2026

This year the RS400s will share a Nationals with the 4000s, they sail the same course, are similar speed and many of the sailors already know each other, so we think it's a perfect pairing! Welcome 4000 sailors!

Book your accommodation now, Hayling is popular, even in September!
This superbly run club is known for its excellent race management and fabulous on-shore facilities, including a large bar, galley serving good-quality food, and on-site accommodation.
A new 4-day September format for the RS400s, in line with feedback from the class survey - only 2 days off work needed and an easy ask for 'weekend pass' away from family, or why not bring them with you, the club makes a lovely base for an active or relaxed long weekend.
This year, the RS400s will share with the 4000s, like-minded sailors who enjoy competitive racing and laid-back socials. You might be surprised how many you already know in the 'opposite' fleet!

Why we LOVE Hayling Island!
This year, to help welcome and encourage those new to the fleet, we will be including 'bronze briefings' every morning and running a special Top Table Q&A session on Thursday evening.
