Welcome to our new RS Class Association Secretary Laurie Callaghan!
I am very pleased to announce that we have appointed a third RS Class Association Secretary, Laurie Callaghan.
Laurie will be looking after the RS300 and RS Vareo classes this year.
Laurie says, "I've been part of the RS family pretty much my whole adult life having sailed an RS200 throughout my 20s, as well as the odd RS400 event and Nationals. Both my kids have sailed RS Fevas growing up and currently we own an RS200 again which has been great to sail together. I'm really excited to join the Class Associations' secretariat team and look forward to meeting you at an event soon."
Laurie has extensive administration and event management experience. She has held various voluntary roles within sailing clubs and class associations, working with race management teams, coordinating events, and organising and facilitating coaching sessions.
I'm sure you will join me in wishing her every success in her new role, I have emphasised how welcoming and friendly our sailors are!
