Gul RS400 National Championships 2009
On 23 August, the RS400 fleet heads to Mounts Bay SC for this year's RS400 National Championships, sponsored by Gul International. We are up to 60 entries and counting - the event is set to be fiercely competitive. All this year we have seen good entries at our events, and at many of the events a different winner for every race. Lets hope the competition goes right to the wire!
Competition will once again be for the main title, as well as the silver and bronze fleet prizes, and prizes across the fleet for different categories. Once again the buddy scheme will be up and running with generous prizes from LDC for the winning team. More information about the buddy system and the evening activities that count can be found on the nationals web page.
There will of course be a great set of socials for the fleet, starting with the Commodore's reception on the Saturday and including a quiz night, a private party in the castle on the Mount and, of course, the last night Championship party, where this year we are introducing the fancy dress theme, that does so well in other fleets. 'Pirates of Penzance' - be sure to bring your outfits!
