- It is run by volunteer sailors with back-up by part time professional administrators
- The sailors make the plans and decisions - without having to do all the leg work

- The cost is tiny compared to your benefits, working out less than a cup of coffee a month!
- By taking out International Class Association membership for one class, you will have reciprocal membership to the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800, RS Vareo International and International RS500 Class Associations
- One event membership is available for all events except National and major championships, for use by those borrowing a boat, intending to only sail in one RS Class Association event etc. Click here.

The main Championships for 2019 are looking amazing.
International Championship, Circolo vela Torbole, 22-26 July
Following immense interest in recent questionaires, the RS400s, RS700s and RS800s are returning to wonderful Lake Garda, Italy. The club is undergoing a massive re-build which includes a fantastic roof terrace with views to make you weep, excellent shower facilities and an extra slipway. The town is lively with an old part, with plenty of accommodation including camping <1km away, and is a short ferry trip to Riva, Malcesine and Limone.
RS400 UK and Irish National Championships, Royal North of Ireland YC, 25-29 August
This is set to be a perfect RS400 event. They already have 25 RS400s in the boat park racing their Winter Series and are looking forward to welcoming loads of visitors. I visited last month and the club is perfectly located for great racing, friendly, professional, great fun. Details of ferry deals, NoR and on-line entry will be available in the New Year. Don’t miss it!
