Lots to see and do in the local area and around Northern Ireland
We would very much recommend arriving early or staying on to enjoy some of the attractions that Belfast and Northern Ireland have to offer.
The Royal North of Ireland is on the shores of Belfast Lough, a pleasant and scenic walk from the town of Holywood.
Belfast City Airport is just 4 miles away, and there is a convenient train line that runs from Cultra to Belfast in one direction and Bangor in the other. Once the boat has been dropped off, it is very possible to enjoy the Championships without the need for a car. It's also easy for families to join you before, during or after the event with low cost airline flights from all over the UK.
Top of the list has to be Titanic Belfast, just 6.5 miles from the club (an easy train or taxi ride), but after that it depends on whether you're looking to understand Northern Ireland's history, get out and experience some wondrous nature, enjoy traditional music or looking for some rest and relaxation. We've put together a short highlights guide with some useful links here.
