Enter the Gul RS400 Nationals now and get a fantastic deal on sails ......
Personal entry form for the Gul RS400 National Championships, Parkstone YC, 20-24 August, will be with all Association members within a week. If you don't receive yours, contact Joanne on [email protected]. There are also blank entry forms on the RS400 website, under 'Nationals', together with the NoR. Lots more information will be on the Nationals site shortly.
The cost of the Nationals is extremely reasonable - just £125 for 5 days racing in beautiful Poole Bay, and a very full social programme. However, if that isn't enough, Purple Marine are offering a great extra incentive. If you enter the Nationals by 20 May 2007, you will receive a Purple Marine gift voucher redeemable against new sails - £50 redeemable against an RS400 Mainsail, £25 redeemable against an RS400 Jib, £35 redeemable against an RS400 Spinnaker, or £135 redeemable against an RS400 Mainsail, Jib and Spinnaker. So if you need a new suit of sails, your Championships are free!!
Back on the socials - we have booked a games night, with hilarious human table football game, a boat trip with fish and chips to see the Poole fireworks, prize-giving night with band and more fireworks, quiz night, and so on .... There will also be the usual programme of extremely useful training seminars, and a buddy system running. All competitors will be placed in the gold, silver and bronze fleets, so everyone sails together, but prizes are more spread and competition more exciting!
There is lots of local accommodation available near the Yacht Club. You will be sent details from the local Tourist Info office. However you can also contact Nicky at Parkstone YC ([email protected] / 01202 743610) for details of members who rent out rooms and accommodation locally.
Look forward to seeing you there.
