Carnac may be over, but the RS400 season is in full swing

Many of the events coming up have a fun social element too - great practice for the RS Games and the Noble Marine Rooster RS400 Nationals at ELYC on Scotland’s Riviera!

For sailors new to the class - please be assured that all levels are welcome at all of our events, the fleet are very helpful and the best way to improve really is to come along and sail at an RS400 event.

Although it's the usual message to please help us to help you by entering events online in advance, we also have some events coming up where you can enter on the day.  It’s not too late for Warsash or Tynemouth  this weekend!

Rooster West Country Boat Repairs Southern Tour Warsash, 11/12 June
Andy Powell, RS400 Technical Rep and Warsash sailor says "The SI’s are up, we have a Hawaiian shirt theme for Saturday night, the caterers are excellent (book food in advance please) and the club will be accepting entries on the day too.  What’s not to like?

TridentUK Northern Tour Tynemouth – home to RS400 Chair Jacob and Kayleigh and a fantastic home fleet of RS400s!

Stewart Brewing Scottish Tour, Royal Tay, 18/19 June
The entry includes free Domino's pizza/sides/salad for sailors on Saturday after sailing and there's then live music in the main club from 7:30pm. So hopefully great weekend on and off the water!

TridentUK Northern Tour, Lord Birkett, 2/3 July
Frequently won by the RS400s, who are often the largest class too - can we do it again in this 60th anniversary year?!

Southern Championships, Parkstone, Rooster National Tour and Southern Tour - 16/17 July
Last chance for anyone south of the border to get some big fleet racing on the sea before the RS Games and Nationals and there’s a curry on Saturday night, on top of the famous Parkstone cakes! NoR to follow soon. Those North of Watford may prefer the Stewart Brewing event at Aberdeen & Stonehaven or TridentUK Northern Tour event at Yorkshire Dales, and yes I do know that's not on the coast!).

The of course there is the RS400 Regatta at the RS Games, 29-31 July, followed by the Noble Marine Rooster RS400 Nationals at EYLC.

What a fabulous Summer of RS400 Sailing this is!
